Makita UC4030A 16" Electric Chain Saw
Corded electric - 2000 watts
One-touch "tool-less" blade and chain adjustments for convenient operation and easy maintenance
Rubberized grip handles are ergonomically designed for comfort
Large trigger switch with soft start for smooth start-ups
Built-in current limiter helps protect motor from burnout by reducing power to motor when saw is overloaded

Weight 13.9 lbs
Very good condition. I believe it was replaced with the gas model and used very little.

This model was released in 2008, subsequently updated and released as the UC4051A. Chainsawjournal.com says:
“Originally, this article was as a review of the original Makita UC4030A, released in 2008, which was then updated and released as the UC4051A. You’ll notice that we make a lot of references to the original model pointing out the improvements. This chainsaw is now a classic (in my opinion), as it has endured the test of time with only a few tweaks to improve the design. I try to recommend it with our readers any chance I get, slipping it in any relevant chainsaw article just in case someone wants a quality corded model — easy to use and built with your safety in mind.
It truly is a work of genius as to how they managed to create such a powerful and effective corded electric chainsaw. It rivals a small gas chainsaw in terms of cutting power, able to cut through wood quickly, surprising many homeowners.”
