CO2 and Nitrogen Tanks
These tanks were used 10 years ago when homebrewing was a thing, then moved cross country 10 years ago. I trust that they were emptied for safe transport, but still I want to be shed of them, so for now $10 each. Here’s what I have been able to determine about each of them:
(A) Kegco 33 CF refillable nitrogen air tank.
High pressure aluminum alloy 6061-T6 cylinder 7” x 19” with carrying handle. Successfully used for Guinness clone beer - the seller notes that a 75/25% mix of nitro/CO2 is what gives Guinness that special flavor and pour. Some, not all suppliers, will fill your tank with a mix. The service pressure is up to 2216 PSI/153 BAR. These cylinders are stamped with required U.S. Department of Transportation and Transport Canada markings. The 580 valves are CGA approved, and have a female thread for Nitrogen Regulators.Purchased new in 2004.
(B) Kegco 10 LB refillable CO2 tank.
High pressure aluminum alloy 6061-T6 cylinder 7” x 20.5" with carrying handle. This tank supports up to 1800 PSI/124 BAR service pressure and is tested to withstand up to 3000 PSI/207 BAR. These cylinders are stamped with required U.S. Department of Transportation and Transport Canada Markings. The 320 valves are CGA approved. Purchased new in 2004.
(C) Kegco 20 LB refillable CO2 tank.
High pressure aluminum alloy 6061-T6 cylinder 8” x 27.5" with carrying handle. The service pressure is up to 1800 PSI/124 BAR with a test pressure of 3000 PSI/207 BAR. These cylinders are stamped with required U.S. Department of Transportation and Transport Canada Markings. The 320 valves are CGA approved, and have a male thread for Co2 Regulators. Purchased new in 2004.
(D) Reconditioned Luxfer CO2 tank - tallest cylinder, brushed aluminum high pressure for beverage industry
(E) Reconditioned O2 tank - short green
(F) Reconditioned medical O2 tank from Apria Healthcare
