Vent-A-Hood Stainless Steel 48" Wide Commercial Range Hood
Vent-a-Hood 48 inch wide x 24” deep x 30” high stainless steel wall-mounted range hood. The hood features a squirrel-cage type fan unit, using centrifugal filtration rather than conventional baffle or mesh filters. Judging by the elegant rivets on the face of the hood, it is from the same epoch as my 60” Vent-a-Hood in service for 30 some years.
You will need a good hood with high CFM fans if you are not brewing outdoors and you have been kicked out of the kitchen or you know better than to try that without a good hood.
This hood will need some care to restore the inner workings. I have not tested the motor but the seller testified that the hood was in working condition when removed 10 years ago. The hood was purchased from a friend together with a small swarm of Castle commercial ranges which have not fared so well. If you take them away, I will be happy.
