48 Qt Igloo Cooler - Mash Tun

$65.00
Only 1 item available

This item is a clever conversion of a 48 quart igloo cooler for use as a mash tun. This was likely purchased as is from someone clever and never put to use. You can get started with all-grain brewing, maybe experiment with some of the “ancient grains” in my collection to get the process down.

While technically it is not a kettle, the mash tun fits in the kettle category as it gives you a way to hold the mash at a certain heat for an hour or so to allow the starches to convert to sugars, then you will filter out the grain, and collect the wort and transfer it to the boil kettle. The quick disconnect appears to match up with some I found in inventory.

The cooler is UPC #034223130121 with outside dimensions 17” x 17”. It is in like new condition.
