Installing Snow Chains
Lay out the chains on the ground to make sure there are no twists or kinks.
Slide the chain behind the tire and connect the ends of the cable, which will sit behind the tire.
Connect the inner chain to the outer traction chain at the bottom of the tire using the large red hook, then activate the servo device to ratchet the chain tightly into place.
Once all the connections are made, move the switch on the ratchet back to "drive." The rachet will tension the chains, then center and fully tighten them on your wheels as you drive forward, giving you a perfect fit.
Removing the chains
Just move the switch to "open," pull the cable to give the chains some slack, and disconnect.
Lengthen the life of snow chains by drying them after each use before you store them.
