Vintage Reed Mfg Model 3C 5" Swivel Mount Bench Vise

$650.00
Only 1 item available

Reed Model 3C 5" vise with pipe jaws and swivel mount. The vise has clearly seen some aggressive work.

Weight approximately 120 lbs.

See excerpt from Reed 1979 catalog. Reed Manufacturing was founded in 1896 in Erie, Pennsylvania. THe company was purchased by Wright in 1904 and is widely considered the top quality vise ever made. In the late 1970’s, Columbian produced vises under the Reed name, as Reed moved on to other products. Any vise produced by Reed is considered collectible, with several features that give the brand the top accolades.

My notes say to check whether this vise is damaged -I forgot to inspect it. If damaged, the price will be discounted accordingly.
